After Toddy was dismissed from his portion of the shoot, Caroline + Travis were able to relax for a bit while looking stylish on the white leather chair. Since they are going for a white theme at the wedding, we decided that the furniture fit right in! We would like to give a big shout out to the talented Lesley @ Tulip for the flowers and mirror table!

Aimee + Jimmer exited with fireworks on their way to their honeymoon in Chicago. We said Jimmer was a charmer…well he proposed on the Navy Pier in Chicago so they wanted to go back to relive those super sweet moments from their relationship. They ended their honeymoon with a trip to Disney World!

This will be our second trip to Argentina. I never really felt like I left a part of myself in a place until we came home from Buenos Aries. The feeling could be attributed to an amazing host family. Their graciousness and hospitality rivals even the most southern personalities. It could have been amazing food, or the richness of texture. As a photographer the city leaves nothing to be desired. Until we return here are a few pictures from our last trip. Even though we will be on vacation we will be posting several engagement sessions in the next few weeks.

She is our assistant extraordinaire. Amanda came on board with A+A a few months ago. She has been an immense help just picking up slack with all the little details and ensuring that the office runs as smoothly as possible. Since we want to remain true to a boutique business and stay small, Alli and I could probably handle all of our workload. We decided this year we wanted to ensure we had optimal “breathing room” to really focus on our clients and our craft. That is where Amanda comes in. She is our go-to on everything behind the scenes, working to make sure we have the time to focus on clients. Most of the time clients will still be talking directly with Alli or myself, but know that Amanda is behind the scenes as part of the A+A team helping spread our message, love simply.

Micah surprised Kayla with a private plane ride from Hattiesburg to Jackson piloted by his friend Drew Gardner. At the airport they were met by our friend Chris Clark. Chris was looking sharp as he dressed the part of chauffeur or body guard as he preferred to be called. He held a sign that read, “Mr Nobles”. Once in the vehicle, he drove them to the reservoir where Adam and I were waiting to capture the special moment. Micah had arranged for us to setup a scene next to the water. Everything was going well until the poles for the backdrop BROKE!!! While Chris created a reallllly loooong drive from the airport, we were able to get new poles and finish the pretty backdrop complete with photos of the happy couple.

Micah blindfolded Kayla when they were close so that she would not be able to see what awaited for her. He led her to the “spot” and told her she could remove the blindfold. She opened her eyes with Micah on his knee asking her to be the love of his life, his wife! After several cute but very shocked looks, she said, “YES”!

While I still can’t believe that my baby brother is old enough to be ENGAGED, I am proud and happy for him! I love you Mikey! Welcome to the family Kayla!
